Opera By Request: Thomas Pasatieri's The Seagull

Friday, June 7th, we will be presenting the Canadian premiere of Thomas Pasatieri's The Seagull.  Based on Chekhov's play, this work has proven to be very popular in the US, but has not yet been performed in Canada.  Guest artist Jenny Ribeiro, a champion of Pasatieri's work, stars as Nina, with Michael Robert-Broder as the troubled Constantin, Monica Zerbe as the fading actress Arkadina, Andrew Tees as the struggling writer Trigorin, and Meagan Reimer as the forlorn Masha.  Steven Henrikson, Avery Krisman, Francis Domingue, Henry Irwin and Kathryn Mills round out the cast.  More details to follow.
