About the event
Please join us this Fall for singing together and enjoyment of each other’s company: Sept Oct 20th, for five Sundays, including our Anniversary Weekend.
We’ll explore as before ... some traditional church music, as well as old hymn tunes, and other unexpected treats, like Margaret Atwood hymn texts.
Our choir will sample the traditions of community singing the world over, from West-Gallery singing in England, to South Africa, Canada and the Caribbean.
Choir director Alan Gasser has led singing in many of our city’s lovely places, both indoors and out, working especially with the Echo Women’s Choir, WorldSongs and Village Harmony (of Vermont).
